Today's Word: "Don't let your anger control you"
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
"So stop telling lies. Let us tell our neighbors the truth, for we are all parts of the same body. And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil." Ephesians 4:25-27 NLT
TODAY’S WORD
We all know what lies bring to our lives. It kills the trust that was there and replace with anger and hatred toward each other. We all have to remember that we are part of same body where we could feel the pain it causes each other. So, we need to correct the misunderstanding and hurts by not letting the devil take control of it. But, the reconciliation that Jesus demonstrated to us, we should do. We should forgive and accept each other in Christ.
Today, remember, you are part of the body of Christ. When you feel the pain, others feel your pain as well. When others are hurting, you will feel their pain as well. Why? Christ Jesus has united you and others with the blood of Jesus Christ. Do not let misunderstanding or hurt clutter your mind of hatred, but, fill your heart with forgiveness and love of Christ. Yes. Do not let sun go down while you are still angry. Because, it will cause you more grief than others.
Yes. Fill your mind of love of God, instead of anger and lies.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father God, I know I need you. I know you are good all the time. Yes. I will not let my anger control me. But, I will submit to the Holy Spirit through displaying forgiveness and love of Christ to others. I pray in Jesus' name.
