Today's Word: "God's mercy"

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

" All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else. But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead" Ephesians 2:3-5 NLT

TODAY’S WORD

We know how we used to live in the past.  We may be good so we thought in our mind; but, we know that we always fall into temptation and sins of this world.  So, we lived with discouragement, deception, disarray, and depression with our life. But, through God's love, we are redeemed and renewed by the Christ.

Today, remember, you have a new life in Jesus Christ. Do not look at the past as your standard; but, look at Christ and refine your standard.  Through the cross and victory over sin, you are given a new life that gives life to those around.  You are justified through the cross and called by God.  His love is demonstrated through you, as you live to give glory and praise to his name.

Be strong, and know that you are redeemed.  Do not let anything or anyone deters you from living your life in Christ.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, I know I am redeemed. I will renew life and focus on living life in Christ. Pray in Jesus' name.
