Today's Word: "Plant well"
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
"Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit." Galatians 6:7-8 NLT
TODAY’S WORD
We all know exactly what Today's scripture is teaching us. Garbage in, and garbage out. Put in good work, you get good results. God is fair to all of us. He is teaching all of us to live away from our satisfaction, but to live to give glory to God.
Today, remember, your action and your lifestyle matters now and your future, so, need to seriously think about what you are doing and you are planning to do. Do you put your focus on the things that will decay or do you put your focus on things that will last eternally. It is sometimes very hard to see what may be more valuable, because many people are blinded by the things of this world. But, you need to know and live by being obedient to the Spirit. As you do, you will be filled with joy and knowing that you have everlasting life.
You will harvest what you plant, plant wisely today.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father God, I will not live to please myself; but, please you. Pray in Jesus' name.
