Today's Word: "Your true home is heaven with God"

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

"For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands." 2 Corinthians 5:1 NLT

TODAY’S WORD

Jesus promised that we will have a house in heaven and we will have a new heavenly body in heaven. But, do we really believe this in our heart? It seems like we have a long life here in the earth. We can't possibly think about death or even heaven. But Apostle Paul is reminding the church that our home is in heaven, not in this world.

Today, remember, you are citizen of God's kingdom and your true home is in heaven. You feel so distant when you think about death or heaven, but, it is closer than you think. Life here in this world, it is limited to 100 years plus minus depends on the health of individual at max. When you ask those who are older, they will all agree that the time past by so quickly for them. Think about heaven some time, live fully each day here in this world with most that you could do for God and for those who God entrusted with.

Live fully everyday until you go to true home in heaven.
