We are no longer bound by the sin. But, we are fighting the sinful nature within, where Holy Spirit helps us to overcome. The wage of sin is death, and Jesus's death on the cross has been paid. But, as we live in this fallen world, we are protected and God's provision shows through the work of the Holy Spirit.
Today, remember, do not be afraid of sinful nature that wants you to make you do evil. Because, the Holy Spirit lives in you and he has control and he will give you strength. Do not let the whisper of the devil determine and direct your life. Let your life be directed by the Holy Spirit.
Conquer the sinful nature by trusting in the Spirit.
We should do some checklist from today's scripture. Do we have any nature that falls in to the list? If we do, we need to trun our way from the sinful nature, turn to the God.
Today, remember, if you are still struggling with the sin, your solution is to turn to the Holy Spirit for his help. Without the help of the Holy Spirit, you will struggle and you will never recover. You cannot live the sinful life and expect to inherit the Kingdom of God. It is like you never knew Jesus who died for your sin.
Are we producing this type of fruit in our lives? If we are not, we need to be obedient to the work of the Holy Spirit rather than trusting in our ability or knowledge to live our lives.
Today, remember, if you are not experiencing the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit in your life, seek and follow the way of the Lord through being obedient to the work of the Holy Spirit. It is so hard for the believers to be strong when the trials or temptations are too hard to handle, but, it gets easier as reliance on the Holy Spirit becomes natural. You need to always remember the fruit of the Holy Spirit, because, this should be what you should be trying to obtain in your life.
Feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life.
We should be encouraging each other to fight the sin and win over the sin instead of rebuking them for falling in to sin. Because, we could also fall into the same temptation ourself.
Today, remember, you need to encourage and lead those who are falling into sinful life, instead of continually rebuking their sinful life. You need to lead them with gentleness and humbleness that shows God's love to them. If God did not demonstrate his faithfulness, you would never would get the gift of Jesus Christ to save you from the wage of sin. God is love.
Demonstrate God's love by leading confused,lost, and fallen brothers and sisters to Christ.
